The Pennsylvania State Police Barracks Wins Award

01.18.07 - JSA Architecture Planning Engineering Interior Design is pleased to announce that one of its recently completed projects has won the following award: The Pennsylvania State Police Barracks, designed for the PA Turnpike Commission and located along the Mon Fayette Expressway in The Borough of Jefferson Hills, won “Best Project under $5 Million from the Master Builders Association of Western Pennsylvania, Inc. Dick Corp. was general contractor.

University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine Building Wins Awards

01.18.07 - JSA Architecture Planning Engineering Interior Design is pleased to announce that one of its recently completed projects has won the following awards: The Biomedical Science Tower 3 building, designed with Payette Associates for the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Oakland, won an Honor Award for Design Excellence from the Pittsburgh Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. The building also won an award for “Best Building over $5 Million” from the Master Builders Association of Western Pennsylvania, Inc. Contractor was Mascaro/Hunt.

Selected as Architect for Carlow University Dormitory Renovation

08.01.06 - JSA Architecture Planning Engineering Interior Design has been selected by Carlow University to design the renovation of the main entrance, lobby and student lounge for the Francis Warde Residence Hall at the Oakland campus. Principal in charge is Thomas J. Mrozenski Jr., AIA. Project manager is Anita Myers, NCIDQ.

Announcement of new Dick’s Sporting Goods Store, Melbourne, Fl.

08.01.06 - JSA Architecture Planning Engineering Interior Design is pleased to announce the successful completion of the new 46,000 SF Dick's Sporting Goods store located in Melbourne, FLA. JSA principal in charge was Tom Mrozenski, Jr., AIA. Project architect was Scott Womack, AIA. Project engineer was Jim Gaynor, PE.

Selected as Architect for new Parvale Bank, Millvale, PA

07.20.06 - JSA Architecture Planning Engineering Interior Design has been selected by Parkvale Bank to design a new 2,700 sf branch bank to be located in Millvale, PA. The new bank will occupy the same site as their previous branch office that was damaged by the 2004 flood. It will feature one drive-thru station and an entrance arch framed with granite taken from the former building. General Contractor is R.E. Crawford.

New Development in Marshall Township

6.20.06 - JSA Architecture Planning Engineering Interior Design has been selected by local/build team, along with Landau Building Company, for five new retail buildings for a new development of Warrendale Village in Marshall Township. Three of the five buildings will be retail strip centers with multiple tenants totaling over 38,000 sf and two will be out parcels for a single user at 4,500 sf each.

New Strip Center Developments

4.20.06 - JSA Architecture Planning Engineering Interior Design has been selected by Pinpoint Real Estate Company, a downtown real estate development company, to design a new 12,600 sf retail strip center at the new Pittsburgh Mills Mall in Tarentum, PA.

They have also been selected by the same company to design a new 18,000 sf retail strip center as an outlet development adjacent to Center Commons, located near Beaver Valley Mall in Center Township, Beaver County, PA.

JSA Awarded New Douglass National Bank in Kansas City, MO

8.30.05 - JSA was selected by Douglass National Bank & the CDC of Kansas City for a new 30,000 S.F. branch bank located in Kansas City, Missouri. Situated adjacent to the Citadel Plaza multi-use development, the new 3-story building will include banking facilities on the ground level and office space on the upper two levels.

Two New Marshall Fields Department Store – Bolingbrook, IL & Novi, MI

8.17.05 - Recently awarded by the May Department Stores Company, JSA was selected for two new Marshall Fields Department Stores located in Bolingbrook, Illinois and Novi, Michigan.

Three New Bank Projects – Sewickley Savings & Loan & Parkvale Bank

6.29.05 - Selected for A/E/ID services, JSA was recently awarded a branch bank location for Sewickley Savings & Loan and two branch bank locations for Parkvale Bank.
