Expect Commitment
When designing for government clients, we never lose sight of who the buildings are ultimately designed for – the public. So we make a commitment to our clients to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and to always design with the public’s best interest in mind.

We’re not afraid of commitment.

In fact, we insist on it. Making a commitment to our government clients allows us to build long-term relationships that lead to repeat commissions. For our government patrons, that includes a complete commitment to designing solutions that serve the public’s best interest, following all procedures, and responding promptly and professionally throughout the project.

That commitment also extends to incorporating sustainable design techniques to achieve LEED-certification, a growing demand for many government commissions. JSA has several key team members who are LEED-accredited professionals. We know the standards and how to apply them. Before LEED sprang onto the scene in the 1990s, we had been employing many energy-saving techniques that LEED recommends as part of our sustainable design efforts. It’s another illustration of our commitment to saving clients money by offering the best return on investment over the life of the project. It just so happens in the case of our government clients, we’re also saving us money—the taxpayers.

As the industry moves from the two-dimensional world of CAD designs to the three-dimensional world of Building Information Models, JSA is once again a leader, having worked with modeling software for years. While many firms have been slow to adopt this clearly beneficial and rapidly growing technology, we’ve long recognized the return it offers our clients — improved designs, construction, and life cycle management costs.

Our government clients have included the Department of General Services, The Pennsylvania Turnpike, The United States Government-Department of the Army, and Pennsylvania municipalities Collier Township, Robinson Township, Moon Township.
