IBM Transarch Headquarters

JSA provided architectural, engineering, and interior design services for the 160,000 S.F. IBM Transarc headquarters facility. Private offices for programmers were designed in groups for maximum acoustic and personal privacy. Angled walls, providing splashes of color, interrupt the groupings of offices to draw the programmers into more playful breakout areas. An in-house miniature golf course and café-style employee lounge were included in the project, created for the enhancement of communication between staff members while providing a place for interactive brainstorming sessions.
