L& T Distribution Center

The Lord & Taylor Department Store Distribution Center in Wilkes-Barre, PA was originally scheduled for four phases, but the project scope evolved to facilitate growth to over 1,000,000 square-feet on a 63-acre site. Productivity improvements resulting from the architectural design and building systems have enabled this facility to expand, exceeding the initial planned output with about 40% of the original facility floor plan. Since completion of the initial phases, JSA has been involved in two transfer wing additions totaling over 100,000 square-feet, more than five interior mezzanine processing additions, three building expansions of approximately 40,000 square-feet each and electrical capacity upgrades.
