Pittsburgh Palisades Park

The Pittsburgh Palisades Park development is intended to create a district complementing the surrounding fabric of historic Pittsburgh. By essentially becoming a new residential neighborhood, providing the amenities of a traditional community, the area will also provide a destination for people of the region through carefully designed entertainment, commercial, and retail venues. This mixed-use development was created to integrate a horse track and gaming area with a retail and commercially driven town center, with direct access to the residential district. The entire plan includes a careful and purposeful use of public green spaces (parks and recreation areas) including a continuous trail around the perimeter of the site and new athletic fields.
