Pitt - Learning Research Development Center
JSA’s renovation of the Learning Research Development Center involved the interior alteration of a first floor for use by UPCLOSE (University of Pittsburgh for Learning Out of School Environments). This 3,300 square-foot transformation created flexibility in the use of space, power/data, and furniture – all accomplished while preserving the original architecture of the LRDC facility. A unique challenge to the project was the conversion of an adjacent escalator well into viable workspace.
