Poindexter Corridor
The primary goal of the Poindexter Corridor Strategic Development Plan is to recreate/revive the historic core of Chesapeake, VA, the downtown area of South Norfolk. As a combination project, with new development and renovations to existing structures, the effort has been structured over 5 phases. Proposed project components include numerous retail locations, commercial space, a new grocery store, a pharmacy, a bank, an educational facility in conjunction with Tidewater Community College, garage and lot parking, and residential units. Working as one of several national development partners, JSA is serving as “Master Architect” in conjunction with Urban Design Associates, ATS-Chester Engineers, Inc., CMSS (local architect), and Landmark Design Group.
